Keep reading for an update on what’s been happening in the Kinode universe lately: from our trip to Devcon and ETHGlobal to our Grants Program, new website unveil, and upcoming mainnet launch.
As we make headway into December, we’re settling back into routine after a jam-packed excursion to Devcon and ETHGlobal Bangkok. One of the highlights was our coffee meetup at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, which drew the attention of both existing Kinode community members and a number of friendly new faces.
We handed out the first ever iterations of Kinode merch (sure to become collector’s items), from t-shirts and hats labeled “Send Nodes” to a number of stickers crafted lovingly in-house. Our merch went like hotcakes – we even decked out the delegations of a few other protocols head to foot in our swag.
With a fully-remote team, the opportunity to meet in person is rare – so for us, the time in Bangkok was productive and inspiring. Plus, getting the chance to soak up energy and learn from the Ethereum community at large was invigorating.
At the ETHGlobal hackathon, we introduced Kinode to hundreds of devs and announced our upcoming Grants Program for the first time. We’re planning to offer grants of up to $10,000 for talented developers who want to build their dApp on Kinode. If you think your project might be suitable, outline your idea and get in touch with us. More details are coming soon.
Had a peek at our website lately? We just rolled out an improved brand look and feel. Most importantly, our updated site offers much richer information about Kinode: what it is, what it’s capable of, and how to get started exploring the Kinode ecosystem. We’ll keep working on improvements as we move into 2025.
We are steadily approaching the launch of Kinode V. 1.0. In addition, we will be launching the Kinode OS global namespace mainnet on Base. Further details will be provided soon, but for the time being, we’re making preparations for the next big step in Kinode’s evolution. It’s time to spread our wings and fly.
As always, you can stay in touch with us by joining our Discord or Telegram, and if you’d like to get free access to the hosting platform Valet*, you can sign up for the waitlist here. You can always run your own Kinode or get started developing by reading our docs.
See you on Kinode.
